What qualifications are required for a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) to comply with DOT regulations?
DOT regulation 49 CFR Part 40 defines who is qualified to complete SAP evaluation. A SAP must hold certain credentials, possess certain knowledge, have completed specific training, and have passed an examination.
